Wet chemical agent systems are increasingly becoming the standard for mobile equipment fire suppression due to their effectiveness in rapidly knocking down fires and superior cooling properties. With modern equipment featuring superheated hazards like turbo hydraulics and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) units, wet chemical agents are designed to:

• Be environmentally sound with new Flourine Free formulas.
• Soak into Class A combustibles (materials like wood and paper).
• Spray into tight, hard-to-reach areas where traditional dry chemical agents might fail.
• Blanket the fuel source of a fire, cutting off its oxygen supply and preventing reflash.

Fire suppression systems must be maintained according to NFPA 17 and NFC standards. This includes semi-annual and annual inspections and servicing by OEM trained fire protection technicians, to ensure they are fully operational in emergencies.
